Frequently Asked Questions
1. What items does KDT Resale purchase directly?
We buy quality modern and vintage clothing, shoes, and electronics. This includes designer apparel, sneakers, and vintage electronics like video game consoles, stereo systems, turntables, and cameras. For a more detailed list, check out our homepage.
2. How do I initiate the selling process?
To get started, text or call (509) 800-7002 or email admin@kdtresale.com with a few photos of your items. If they’re a good fit, I’ll schedule a drop-off slot at my location so I can evaluate them. Drop-offs are by appointment only and offered at specific times each day.
Please note: I do not travel to pick up items unless it’s a large lot or high-value collection. Local pickups are available for bulk consignments or special situations by request.
3. What condition should my items be in?
Items should be clean and in good working condition. Clothing should be free of flaws, and electronics should be fully functional. Minor wear is okay, but we cannot accept damaged or broken items.
4. How does the consignment process work?
4. How does the consignment process work?
If you have an item valued at $100 or more or a lot of items each valued at $50 or more, you may be eligible for consignment. We handle everything—photography, pricing, listing, customer service, and shipping. Once an item sells, we deduct any applicable selling platform fees (like eBay or PayPal), and then split the remaining profit 50/50.
Consignment terms last up to 180 days. Pricing is based on market trends, and we may accept offers or apply discounts to help items sell. Full consignment terms will be provided in a written agreement before we begin.
5. Do you offer pickup services for large collections?
Yes! We offer free local pickup for large lots of clothing, shoes, or electronics in Grant County, WA. Just contact us to schedule a time.
6. What types of items qualify for consignment?
Designer clothing, luxury accessories, high-end electronics, and other items we believe will sell for $100 or more may qualify. If you're unsure, reach out—we're happy to take a look.
7. When and how will I receive payment for consigned items?
Once your item sells and the return window has passed, payment will be sent within 1–2 weeks. Payments are made through PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle, and your preferred method will be selected and agreed upon in the consignment contract before we begin.
10. How can I stay updated on the status of my consigned items?
We keep track of all consigned items and will notify you when something sells. You can also reach out anytime for an update.
